The clock at the centre of the Time Learning Board has hands that can be turned to show any time of day but as you move the second hand the hour hand moves as a normal clock. In this way the time appears correctly. A flip book can be used to confirm the time or to set a challenge “can you show 3 o’clock” for example? For more advanced children, there is a separate block depicting am and pm too. Two sand timers can be flipped on the board to visually show the passage of 1 minute and 3 minutes too.
